Our passionate, patient and experienced adventure guides work diligently to create a unique experience for each of our guests whether they are experienced or new to hiking and back country excursions.
Our Adventures Guides
Our guides are passionate about the outdoors and about continuous learning. Every guide is equipped with essential training including Emergency or Wilderness First Responder First Aid and Bear Wise training. Each with a lifetime of varied experiences and training including: search and rescue, rope and ice rescue training, advanced dive qualifications, Wilderness Water Safety Supervisor certification and various hiking and paddling related certifications and experiences. With our expertise, we ensure that your wilderness adventures are not only thrilling but safe.

River
River is an adventure guide dog in training. River will be spending this summer getting exposed to the rigors of life on the trails, rivers and in the caves. This training will prepare her to commence her adventure guide dog apprenticeship training in 2026. Get regular updates on River’s progression on our social media platforms (FB, Insta, TikTok).

Sue
Sue's journey is a remarkable testament to her passion for adventure and her love for the outdoors. In her youth she excelled in adventure racing but as she matured, she combined her passion for adventure racing with a deep appreciation for the tranquility of the wilderness engaging in back country hiking and paddling excursions. Sue has raced, hiked or paddled many popular destinations including: much of the Niagara Escarpment, Killarney, Algonquin, Lake Superior, Sleeping Giant, and Pukaskwa. Sue's adventurous spirit has also taken her beyond her home region to explore the rugged beauty of Alberta and British Columbia in such places as: Banff, Jasper, Lethbridge and Revelstoke. Sue not only seeks her own solace in the wilderness but also has a deep passion for sharing her love of nature with others and encouraging them to unplug from the rush of modern life. Looking ahead, Sue is planning a hiking trip in Spain next year, adding another exciting chapter to her outdoor adventures.

Lisa
Lisa is a globe-trotting adventurer with an unquenchable thirst for exploration and a deep appreciation for the natural world. Her wanderlust has led her to hiking destinations across the world, from the wilderness of Killarney, Algonquin, Lake Superior and Pukaskwa National Park in Canada, rugged beauty of hiking from Calgary Foot Hills through Banff, Jasper, Lake Louise, Revelstoke to Kelowna. She has also emersed herself in nature hiking through the picturesque challenging PEI Costal and Cabot Trails to the coasts and mountains of Spain, Portugal, Azores, the wilds of Australia, and the captivating landscapes of Africa. Lisa's spirit of adventure extends beyond the trails, as she is also an accomplished triathlete and marathon runner, thriving on the physical and mental challenges of these demanding races. In addition, she's a qualified scuba diver, which allows her to explore the wonders both above and below the water's surface. A true free spirit, Lisa's love for the outdoors transcends conventional boundaries. Her connection with the environment is more than words can express; she's a steward of the Earth, cherishing its beauty in every step she takes and every breath she draws. Lisa is about to embark on another nature adventure to the Old Growth forests in Victoria and Vancouver Island areas to hug more trees... and Done Epic!

Addy
Addy is a passionate and lifelong hiker who wholeheartedly embraces the great outdoors. With an unquenchable thirst for adventure and an unwavering love for nature, he has spent his entire life exploring the wonders of the wilderness. Addy's extensive hiking journey has led him to conquer numerous remarkable trails, including the challenging Garibaldi Lake and Black Summits, the rugged Western Uplands Trail, Pukaskwa National Park, La Cloche Silhouette, the Highlands Trail, the serene Plain of Six Glaciers, and the majestic Mount Victoria and Ha Ling Peak. In addition to his hiking accomplishments, Addy is no stranger to backcountry canoeing, having completed countless unforgettable trips in the pristine landscapes of Algonquin. His life is a testament to his deep connection with nature and his unwavering dedication to adventure in the great outdoors. Next year Addy is looking forward to a hiking trip in Switzerland, adding to his lengthy hiking portfolio.
